A Storm of Light - Tempest
I wasn’t really a big fan of the first A Storm of Light album, a lot of the ex-Neurosis bands are hit or miss. I thought they were going to be another disappointing side project on Josh Graham’s resume, another band that couldn’t live up to the tradition that Neurosis helped create. So I was kind of surprised at this new album because it came out of nowhere and it’s one of the best heavy albums I’ve heard in quite a while. Check it out.
